
Dr. Pablo Gelber studied medicine at the University of Buenos Aires from 1995 to 2001. The Hospital Alemán was the hospital unit where he completed his medical-surgical studies.
He obtained an average grade point of 9.02 out of 10, for which he was awarded the Diploma of Honor from the University of Buenos Aires.
Residency Training (MIR)
In 2003, after obtaining the 24th position in the general MIR examination and the 1st position within his specialty, he began his training in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology in the Parc de Salut Mar de Barcelona.
DOCTORAL THESIS
In 2007, while still resident in orthopedic surgery and traumatology, he obtained the doctorate, the highest degree awarded in the university. Defends thesis dissertation Anatomosurgical study of anterior shoulder instability. Functional significance of the inferior glenohumeral ligament, obtaining the maximum grade, Summa Cum Laude, from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB ).


SPORTS MEDICINE FELLOW
In 2010, Dr. Gelber performed a Visiting Fellow in Sports Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh under the leadership of the prestigious Profesor Freddie Fu.
The center is considered the most advanced in the field of in the clinical research into the pathology of the knee ligament. Doctor Fu is world renowned, among other merits, for his contributions to understanding the anterior cruciate ligament as a structure made up of two bundles.
